FILTRATION

I filtri sottovuoto a tela sono ideali per filtrazioni dove sono presenti solidi leggeri e superfici ridotte

VACUUM CLOTH FILTERS

Vacuum cloth filters are ideal for filtration processes that involve the presence of light solids and small filtration surfaces.

These filters are a subcategory of horizontal vacuum filters, with which they share great flexibility and a high filtration rate.

The distinguishing feature of this type of filter is the presence of the cloth that adheres directly to the drainage grids and does not require other sliding supports.

When the cloth is in motion, the product is supplied to the filter. And when the cloth is stationary, the supply of the liquid also stops. In this way it is possible to apply the vacuum between the cloth and filter and separate the solids and liquids.

The vacuum is applied and removed gradually to ensure correct and gradual tensioning of the cloth without damaging it.

The execution and shutdown times are managed by an automated control panel and can be set during start-up and adjustment of the system. The parameters can therefore be modified according to the needs of the process.

THE DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF VACUUM CLOTH FILTERS

In addition to flexibility and speed of filtration, one of the main distinguishing features of these filters is the cloth that adheres directly to the drainage grids and does not require other sliding supports.

Here are additional advantages featured in this filtration system:

  • Easy, low-cost maintenance
  • High-efficiency washing
  • Separation from washing water
  • The thickness of the cake, vacuum intensity and belt speed are independent and variable to obtain the optimal result
  • The filters can be equipped with a partial or complete protective hood
  • Option of steam drying (last stage)
  • Available in a wide range of sizes from 0.1 m2 (pilot unit) up to 150 m2

THE APPLICATION FIELDS OF VACUUM CLOTH FILTERS

Vacuum cloth filters are ideal in application fields that involve small filtration surfaces and the presence of light solids.

Below are the main areas of application:

  • Gypsum dewatering systems (FGD and WFGD)
  • Sludge from the production of metal
  • Sludge from aluminium foundries
  • Dehydration of minerals
  • Production of chemical products
  • Tartaric Acid, Citric Acid
  • Boric Acid, Phosphoric Acid
  • Phosphates, Sulphates
  • Sulphur Recovery
  • Mining Sector
  • Copper, Nickel and Zinc
  • Silver, Iron Ore, Ashes, Gold
  • Lead, Coal
  • Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals
