OIL-WATER SEPARATION SOLUTIONS

I separatori CPI trattano le acque reflue oleose

CPI separators

CPI separators are an ideal solution for treating oily wastewater.

These lamellar pack separators can be used to treat oily water before flotation units.

In particular, CPI separators can treat and remove from the water any oil particles with a diameter of less than 150 microns.

This is possible because, when treating oily water, the lamellar pack separators allow the separation of suspended solids and oils from water by exploiting the different specific weights of oil, solids and water.

The presence of lamellar packs increases the contact surface by considerably reducing the overall sizes as compared to an API separator.

THE DISTINCTIVE ELEMENTS OF API SEPARATORS

While the ability to separate oil globules with a diameter smaller than 150 microns from water is certainly one of the main distinguishing elements of CPI separators, it is not the only one.

Below there is a list of all the characteristic elements of our line of separators:

  • High efficiency in the removal of suspended solids
  • Reduced amount of water in the oil removed
  • Atmospheric, gas-tight and pressure-tight construction design
  • Internal and external anti-corrosive coating
  • Very low turbulence
  • Internal Materials: AISI, Plastics, Duplex, etc.
  • Construction Standards: API 421
  • Concrete or metal basin
  • Oil removal system: grooved tube or oil drum separator
  • Continuous operation
