It is <strong>waste and waste water<\/strong> produced by plants in which commercial activities or production of goods are carried out.<\/p><p>Industrial wastewater contains high <strong>concentrations of contaminants<\/strong> such as mineral oils. For this reason they must be purified.<\/p><p>How?<\/p><p>Through the <strong>oil removal treatment<\/strong>, which allows floating materials to be separated from polluted water.<\/p><p>Specifically, it consists of a <strong>mechanical operation<\/strong>. They are among the most efficient systems for the removal of oil and suspended solids in water, after their use the oil content can be reduced up to 95%.<\/p><p>Specifically, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecniplant.it\/en\/api-separators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>API separators<\/strong><\/a> are the ideal solutions for treating <strong>oily wastewater<\/strong>, their installation requires large room available.<\/p><p>They are used for a <strong>preliminary water treatment<\/strong> before the flotation process. The velocity of the fluid inside the separator is extremely slow.<\/p><p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecniplant.it\/en\/cpi-separators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CPI separators<\/strong><\/a>, on the other hand, are <strong>lamellar pack separators<\/strong> that can be used in the treatment of oily waters before the flotation units.<\/p><p>One of the characteristics that distinguishes them from API separators is the ability to <strong>separate oily globules with a diameter smaller than 150 microns from water<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Within our solutions there are also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tecniplant.it\/en\/flotators\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>floaters<\/strong><\/a>.
