suspended oils and solids from water.<\/p><p>Specifically, they are secondary treatments to be installed after the API separator and\/or the CPI separator.<\/p><p>This equipment is especially ideal when <strong>high flow rates are involved<\/strong> and if <strong>significant separation performance<\/strong> is required.<\/p><p>TECNIPLANT specializes in the design, engineering and construction of <strong>different types of induced air\/gas flotators (IAF\/IGF) and dissolved air\/gas flotators (DAF\/DGF)<\/strong>.<br \/>Air and induced gas flotators can be:<\/p><ol><li>turbines (IDF \u2013 Impeller Drive Flotators)<\/li><li>injectors (EDF \u2013 Eductor Drive Flotators)<\/li><\/ol><p>Both types are composed of the following <strong>compartments:<\/strong> a series of flotation cells and the inlet and outlet chambers.<\/p><p>Air and dissolved gas flotators use an external compressor to create bubbles.<\/p><p>In addition, based on customer specifications, TECNIPLANT can produce the mentioned flotators with <strong>atmospheric <\/strong>or <strong>pressurised<\/strong> design.<\/p><p>In general, TECNIPLANT <strong>flotators<\/strong> are designed as <strong>stand-alone systems<\/strong> or <strong>combined with skids complete with ancillaries<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In both cases, the <strong>oil content leaving<\/strong> the flotator can be <strong>reduced by up to
