HORIZONTAL PRESSURE LEAF FILTERS

The Horizontal Pressure Leaf Filters are an efficient system for Solid-Liquid separation where a high filtration surface is required. Easy to operate and maintain, they are essentially composed of filtering elements and cleaning devices installed in a pressure tank. The filtering elements are vertically mounted round leaves which filter through both sides. The leaves are the same shape and size, they are interchangeable, ensuring cake uniformity and easy maintenance.

The discharge and the cleaning of the leaves can be supplied as follows:

Dry type by means of a tangential scraper system
Wet type by means of spray jets mounted on a washing pipe.

In both cases the discs rotate during the cleaning phase.
The filter leaves are held by a central shaft which also acts as filtered liquid collector. Quick opening door device is available. The standard design range covers a filtering surface of up to 200 m2 (PED, ASME).
